REPA's Membership

General Members

REPA's non-committee membership is extensive and includes many diverse interest groups. It also includes families living in and enjoying the rural lifestyle of the area. It is a voluntary organisation committed to maintaining a rural residential lifestyle. In the past members have contributed financially as an annual subscription which REPA uses to support legal actions. Some members have also contributed their skills for the benefit of the organisation. In the past this has included free or discounted environmental evaluation and legal representation.

John Bristow BSc., MRACI, CompIEAust, RPEQ3283, semi retired Water & Wastewater Consultant specialising in water chemistry, water treatment, sewage treatment, environmental matters and corrosion in relation to water, concrete, soils and pipe materials performance. Member of REPA since its inception, committee member from about 1985, Chairman 1997-2007.

Peter Nielson Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at UQ PhD, D Eng in Civil Engineering.  Peter is a professional engineer and active researcher in river hydraulics, flooding issues and sediment transport.

Roy Panitz; long term resident of Upper Brookfield. Roy is a retired CSIRO technician with forty years experience in the fields of legume bacteriology and plant quarantine with general rural expertise.
